Restorative Yoga with the Healing Power of Crystal Bowls
We are pleased to welcome sound healer, Jay Schwed for a singing bowl concert on July 11 at 7:00 pm. Jay will also to accompany the Restorative Yoga class at PCYH on Sunday, July 19, 1:30 - 3:30 pm!
During his presentation Jay will re-tune each participants body, initially by opening, clearing and re-balancing each of the 7 major chakras, plus the ‘high heart’. The high heart is the one heart that connects all hearts to the one, to spirit, to God. This chakra is commonly referred to as the Thymus gland or the center for the immunity system . It has been scientifically established that each of these chakras or energy centers are associated with a musical note or vibrational frequency. The session will begin with a short relaxation that will lead to a meditative state. Incorporating breathing and color imagery Jay will guide you through opening each chakra. Each chakra has a color that resonates at the same vibrational frequency as the crystal bowl that he plays. Intermittently the audience will experience sound-infused aromatherapy mists that soothe the auric field and bring a smile to everybody’s face. The session will close with the Song of Angels. 'In summation, Jay’s presentation is a sensory experience where he awakens and activates all the senses with his sounds, aromatherapy scents, vibrational sounds and frequencies and the visual experience of color healing. $30
